Britney Spears has always adored her two sons. The superstar shares sons Sean Preston, born September 14, 2005, and Jayden, born September 12, 2006, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2007.

Though a dedicated mom, Britney’s parenting was put under a microscope and she became the subject of much tabloid fodder. The pressure began weighing on Britney’s mental health. After she and Kevin initially agreed to joint custody of their sons, she lost custody following her public 2007 nervous breakdown. The breakdown was the start of a dark path for Britney, leading to her 2008 conservatorship. Over time, Britney earned visitation rights and got to see her boys, who lived with their dad. They’ve continued to live with Kevin since Britney’s conservatorship ended in Nov. 2021.

The pair, now teenagers, keep out of the spotlight these days, but every so often Britney shares snaps of her boys with their permission.
